VIII Russian Philosophy Congress
Due to measures taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus (2019nCoV) VIII Russian Philosophy Congress is postponed to 2021. All registered participants will soon get an email with full information. All submissions are valid for the next year's event.
Paper submission is reopened until December 31, 2020
VIII Russian Philosophy Congress "Philosophy in a Polycentric World" will take place on May 28-30, 2020 at the Department of Philosophy, Lomonosov Moscow State University
Topics to be discussed:

– current problems of history and theory of philosophy;
– philosophical dimensions of contemporary polycentric world;
– philosophy and society, professional and personal responsibility of a modern philosopher;
– contemporary Russian philosophy: problems and prospects;
– Russian philosophy and the problems of civilisatonal progress in Russia;
– philosophy and education in contemporary Russia: problems and solutions.
Opening
The first day of the Congress (May 28th 2020): official opening ceremony, plenary sessions, general meeting of the Russian Society for Philosophy, and meetings of department members teaching philosophy.
Plenary session
The third day of the Congress will finish on a general plenary session.
